SNSS L.L.C., was established as a Nursing agency in 2005. We provided private Independent Nurses to facilities in the area. After gaining Licensure in 2007 the surgical assistant arm of the company was activated.
Our company has the privilege of having the First Licensed Surgical Assistant as one of the founding partners. We are now dedicated to the profession of surgical assisting.
Our mission is to provide high quality Licensed Surgical Assistants to hospitals, surgery centers and private surgery clinics. We are also dedicated to the teaching aspect of the surgery. And we have played a major role in assisting in the teaching of Residents and Fellows, our future Surgeons of the world.
As defined by the American College of Surgeons, the surgical assistant provides aid in exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other intraoperative technical functions that help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. In addition to intraoperative duties, the surgical assistant also performs preoperative and postoperative duties to better facilitate proper patient care. The surgical assistant to the surgeon during the operation does so under the direction and supervision of that surgeon and in accordance with hospital policy and appropriate laws and regulations.
